On the second day (6/4), we took a side trip to Kanab, UT (for lunch) via Fredonia, AZ. On the way home (6/6) we took a short detour to Horseshoe Bend in the Colorado River near Page, AZ. This is Day 1. John & Jacqui spent two days and three nights at the North Rim of the Grand Canyon from June 3 through June 6, 2008. It started to snow just as we were returning to the lodge. We tried out best to get back before the snack shop closed to get ice cream, but were just a couple of minutes too late.
